The Lake House

With a view across the pristine Dutch Lake, teaming with loons, painted turtles, otters and other birdlife and wildfowl, the Lake House offers its guests a unique break from the hustle of modern living and an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds.

Luxuriously appointed guest suites, in this new hand-crafted log house, each with a view over the lake from the bedroom and your private patio. Delicious breakfasts are served with your fellow guests at the main dining table or privately within your suite, as you choose. The library area has interesting literature about Wells Gray, BC and other places in the world and is full of relics of the owners’ days as owners of a lodge in Zambia.

Free use of canoes and paddleboards and swimming from the private pontoon in the warm spring-fed lake complemented by the Wells Gray Park. Famous for its wildlife, wilderness and waterfalls the entrance to the Wells Gray Park is less than 10 minutes from this B&B’s door. Fishing on the stocked lake via boat or off our pontoon is another great way to spend some time here.
